How to access your UMG Email and Web apps from a PIAS Laptop
This article applies to users that have been onboarded into Universal Music and have been given an account on UMG Workday and email. The guide will step you through the process of accessing UMG systems on your [PIAS] laptop using a Web browser.
To Sign Into UMG Web Mail
To avoid conflicts with [PIAS] systems, we advise that you access UMG web-based systems using a different browser, or by setting up a separate browser profile. All [PIAS] laptops have Chrome, Edge and Firefox preinstalled, so just use a browser that you don’t normally use. Using your different browser, access https://outlook.office.com/mail. You should be taken to the following login screen.

Type your UMG email address, which is your firstname.lastname@umusic.com. After hitting Next, you should be taken to a UMG branded screen to enter you UMG password.

Once your credential have been entered, you will see a code displayed from Duo Mobile. Go to you the mobile app and enter the code that you see. This is the same process that was set up when onboarded with the UMG Tech Team.

After entering the correct code on you mobile, your browser will take you to Universal’s web mail. A similar process is used to access Workday and other UMG systems.
If at any point in the process, you receive a message advising you that your device is not registered or authorized, then you’ll need to request support from the [PIAS] Helpdesk sota@sota.co.uk with the title Duo Device Health App Request.
