IT Security e-training
What is it?
The IT team will send out security training material to all colleagues via email. The content will be concise and relevant and is designed to help all employees to understand good practice and how to identify risks. This will become a regular ongoing event.
Why is it important?
We do encounter almost constant attempts to breach our systems from hackers, the threat is very real. Most of the threats that we encounter come from email but there are other areas to be aware of too. We use world class security tools to help to protect our users and data but our people are always the last line of defence.
How to participate?
You will receive an email inviting you to take part in training. So that you can tell that this is legitimate, we have posted some screenshots below of what the messages and training page look like.

We would encourage everyone to take a few minutes to complete this training. We will also be sending out more simulated phish messages, if you are caught out by those you will receive similar training messages to help you to avoid being caught out. This is an important process required to ensure that everyone is able to protect themselves if they ever receive a real malicious message.
