Opening Invu
The first time you open Invu after the server migration you will need to specify the new server address. You will only need to do this once.
When you launch the Invu Series 6 application
You will see and error. Click OK and you will then see this login window. Note the server name needs to be changed. The new server is GS2PIAM118.
Click ‘Edit’ and then ‘Add’ as in the screenshot below.
Do not tick ‘This connection is for internet use’.
Once you click OK you will then see two server names in the Client Admin window.
Click on the old server, GS2PIAM18, and click ‘Remove’.
Then click OK.
Put in your username and password. This is not your email address. Your username will be:
First initial and surname cstrain for people who’ve in the company for a while
Firstname.Surname colin.strain for people who’ve been here since we moved to office 365
Three initials CST for Belgian or French users who’ve been here a while.
Put a tick in ‘Remember this username/password’ and you won’t need to enter it again until you next change your password.
You may see a prompt to put in your email password. This is the same password that you used in the last window.
Any issues, please log a ticket with the Help Desk at https://helpdesk.pias.com/ or email helpdesk@pias.com.
Note: if you are using a [PIAS] laptop and connecting to the VPN then you can open Invu directly from your computer. You will need help from IT to install it though. Please send a request via the channels above if you would like this and one of the team will sort it out for you.
